Festive SINGAPORE

We landed in Singapore and there were beautiful bright red and yellow colors everywhere. It was Chinese new year and we did not plan as part of the trip. So it was a welcome surprise.

Singapore is beautiful, small and accessible. It is great for shopping, the malls showcase all the designer brands, European, American and others.

The food stalls are very clean and the food is of course very cheap. There is little India if you want to try South Indian food.

And Starbucks is everywhere. The great thing about SE Asia is that there is free Wi-Fi where ever you go. All Starbucks offer free Wi-Fi. So all the young people with their PC laptops and those with a bit more money (or who want to flaunt it) use their Apple.

The Singapore government provides free hotspots. I think that is true.

The transport in Singapore is efficient and clean. You can go practically anywhere in metro, buses or via cabs. The cabs are reasonable.
